Tuve la oportunidad de ver en el cine la película "La Misión" y lo que más recuerdo es su música. No es desconocido para algunas amistades mi comentario acerca de que la considero una de las melodías más hermosas y más profundas que he escuchado en toda mi vida...
Aunque ahora estoy escuchando por televisión su primer concierto en Chile, no dejo de pensar en aquella música tan dulce y tan llena del espíritu propuesta para esta película, ideal para esta Semana Santa.
La oportunidad de asistir al concierto, que era gratuita, era sin duda un aliciente a la música de elite. Pero me sorprende que algunos críticos y periodistas de espectáculos le bajen el perfil a este hombre por dedicarse hacer música de películas... ¡Pero si el cine es también arte!... ¿Acaso no han visto "La Misión"?... ¿"Cinema Paradiso"? ¡Qué falta de criterio...! Mucha ignorancia, sabiendo que se trata de Cine Arte... Sus elecciones musicales son de elite.
Leí algunos comentarios en la prensa escrita y me llamó la atención que un periodista de espectáculo llamado René Naranjo considere mediocre a Morriconne por su ahora dedicada pasión por el cine. Este músico italiano lleva AÑOS creando, AÑOS al servicio de la música, AÑOS estudiando, más que válida su opción.
...Está claro que este periodista se pasará su vida haciendo lo mismo. Con sus comentarios, más parece que él es el que no evoluciona.
Es harto rara la crítica chilena. A Pamela Díaz, una modelo chilena, le encuentran súper válido su forma de caminar en pasarelas, comentando que es su sello personal y que cuál es el problema que lo haga así... A todo esto...¿quién es ella?...
"Déjalo ser" dicen los psicólogos... Pero si uno quiere propuestas para pulir talentos, no evolucionaremos nunca si nos quedamos en la repetición y en la ligera postura...
