Cuando realicé mi práctica en CODELCO CHILE DIVISION EL TENIENTE, lo hice en el Departamento de Seguridad e Higiene Industrial, Area Promoción. Posteriormente se externalizó esta área y continué en una Agencia realizando las mismas labores para esta gran Empresa. En ese tiempo existía un personaje llamado "RATOMAN" creado especialmente como "mascota" de los mineros, ya que al menos en esa época, era muy frecuente encontrar ratones en la mina... Esta familiaridad permitía que se lograra los objetivos de seguridad, porque se utilizaba como apoyo gráfico en la mayor parte de los soportes como LETREROS CAMINEROS, AFICHES, ADHESIVOS, SOLERAS, ETC.
Mi aporte en esta etapa fué precisamente darle vida a diversos GESTOS y movimientos a este personaje... Como me encanta dibujar disfruté mucho "mover" esta caricatura y plasmar su simpatía. Me sabía "de memoria" su estructura y no necesité de moldes para su construcción. ¡Me encantó dibujarlo!
